I got an nav-tv tuner unit from ebay for a good price. It resembles a popular 4-500 dollar unit that AVelectronic's (www.avelectronic.com) also sells. I added an dvd player and now I am able to watch movies, thinking of adding a gamecube in there later. The installation was harmless, any competant stereo guy could do it.

i had a tv tuner(alpine) in my last car and the reception sucks balls. its ok big cities but when you drive out to a more rural area the reception drops big time. its really not worth it in my opinion, good for showing off to your friends and chicks. but other than that i would not do it again. the dvd player is crystal clear but who drives long enough to finish a movie?

None of you guys answered the quest .will this dvd kit void our cars warranty?
I dont want to void my warranty. If my dvd nav starts acting up, you know the service technicians at the Acura dealership will blame it on the dvd kit even though it may not be the cause of the problem, ie.

Talk to the dealer before installing. I would not think so. It is pretty much just a splitter switch. Only lets you switch which video input goes to the screen.
