Yes, I did it all. 06 TL with Navi.
1. Dom's Plug-n-play Navi Converter.
2. Accele Vision 8500 DVD player
3. Wendy from Ebay's small camera
4. Tweeter's hard wired FM modulator instead of Dom's
5. Didn't use TV antenna from Dom.
Install was a few hundred I believe. I can't remember right now. It's 2:00 am, haha. But after it ALL was said and done. I paid $1,010 for EVERYTHING installed. The install is perfect .. so I can't complain.
Small DVD player fits in the glove box:

Start up screen:

Nighttime pic of DVD player:

Remote compared to cell phone size:

Camera install: You cannot see the camera at all standing behind the car. You actually have to like bend down and look up above the license plate to see it. It's great. It's like the width of a quarter. Hard/impossible to use if its raining real hard ... but that's fine ... I dont mind looking in the mirrors every now and then. Also, the night time pics are good as well. But never took those pics. It's a great product.

Camera View Pics On Navi Screen:

DVD Pics:

Red Eye Sensor for DVD player remote: This is the 1st compartment under the radio.

Can't get any better than this ... I wish I had this when I bought the stuff. And the Navi converter unit is mounted on the right side of the trunk behind the lining.
Good luck man!

BTW: The red switch above the DVD player is to switch the video feed on/off between the DVD player and the Navi unit. Then the silver knob to the right of it is to turn on/off the FM modulator for the sound from the DVD movies!
Doesn't the navi screen only display 256 colors? If so, how do the movies look? I'm probably missing something here, but quite interested if you could tell me more... my 06 TL is only 4 weeks old now and I havent really gotten into all the aftermarket fun yet
Here is how I just completed the DVD upgrade. I did all the work myself including the wiring, mounting of controls, custom fiberglass box and shelf located in the trunk.

DVD is placed in between the back seats under a custom made shelf.

Close up of DVD player.

Trunk shot of shelf with DVD player below and amplifier on top.

MTX amplifier on shelf.

MTX amplifier close up.

Trunk shot with amplifier and custom fiberglass box with 10" MTX sub.

10" MTX sub.

Switch for DVD player to navigation found in the cup holder for easy access.

Bass knob (right) and source switch (under) found near mirror controls.

I got it off of eBay. It is model: Blaupunkt DVD-ME3, which has everything you need including a built in TV tuner. Here is a link that contains the full details.

There is a way to get rid of the switch you have that you use to toggle the video to the nav. Dom can explain it to you, but by cutting off the toggle switch on Dom's box and putting a relay in its place, the remote turn on wire from the dvd player operates the relay which operates the switch. When you turn on the dvd player, the relay automatically closes the the connection and turns on the video. Turn off the dvd player and it goes right back to nav.
Also, throw that FM modulator away. I don't know how any of you can stand the hiss and distortion. Tap into the xm wires. It is easier than hooking up the FM modulator and the sound is just amazing. And its louder.
