Trunk Access For Subs
Trunk Access For Subs
The subs (2x8 box) in my TL sound really bad compared to previous cars (they sound muffled and not "full"). I'm guessing it's because the TL has a lot more absorbing material between the passenger compartment and the trunk (seats don't fold down, etc...).
As a test I want to put my sub box in the rear seat. Can anyone tell me the easiest way to snake a speaker wire from the trunk (amp) to the back seat without taking the rear seat out or drilling a hole in the center armrest access panel? I'd like to keep the armrest up, so I can't just keep the access panel open.

I actually fished the power wire and remote wire through my trunk on the drivers side of the rear seat near the top, there's a piece of foam when you pull the gray insulation, maybe called carpeting, but fish it through there and it will come out near the top of the rear seat.
