And now every time I start it, it says "Self Diagnosis Module" and beeps a few times. There doesn't really seem to be a way out of this screen. It just sits there, everything goes from red to green and it sits there. Any ideas? I haven't played around with this thing much so I don't want to press something stupid and jack it up.

 

What year is your TL? Depending on your MO, you'll need either an orange or white DVD.

 

07 TL-S. The original was 4.62, I used an .iso 4.64 and it worked fine. Now using a 4.73 iso.

 

Oem 4.73 or a copy?

 

Copies don't work.

 

This caught me a couple of times until I actually looked at the screen. After it self-tests most of the functions, then you have to press the navi-talk button, i think you have to say a few words so it tests the mic, and then you have to hit the navi-back button

 

That's probably exactly what I need. I figured it was something stupid.

It is a copy. Did they change something from 4.64 to 4.73 that would make it not work?

 

Yes. The copies are coming out NG. Better off just bucking up and getting a OEM disc. Where did you copy the 4.73 from?
