Treo 800w

Work's giving me a new Treo 800w to replace my 700wx. I consider myself lucky as my 700wx played nice with the HFL in most respects.

So Does anyone have an 800w yet? I want to be sure it's compatible. It's not yet listed on handsfreelink.com. Hopefully features like phonebook import, signal and battery icons on the MID work correctly!

Matt,

I've got the Treo 800wx (for Verizon) and it worked fine in my 2007 Type S. However, it did not import my phonebook or show the battery power, etc. But the phone will work in your car.

Yeah, i have an 800w, and it works wonderfully... phone book import and everything... only thing i ever noticed that was off was sometimes the call would drop as soon as it started ringing, this hasn't occurred in a while... but it did once or twice in the beginning..
But yes, it works completely phone numbers, signal, batter, phonebook everything... it's even really nice, because you can make a call on your phone, then click menu> connect bluetooth and it will swtich to the car, and then you can cancel bluetooth and it will pull it off the car with no loss in between.

genius - are you with sprint or verizon? have you added any third-party bluetooth stuff? Also, what year is your TL? I'm wondering because of what steven said right above you...

Matt, Adam...

The "w" model is for Sprint and the "wx" is for Verizon.

Interesting. It was the other way around with the 700.
