Treo 650 for the TL: Would You Recommend It?

I currently own a TREO 600 for Sprint and I am considering buying a TREO650 for its bluetooth capability.

I read in a separate thread that there is now a patch to make the Treo 650 link effectively with the TL, but also found there that a few people may still have problems: soft resets, blank screens, others?

As of yesterday I didn't find the 650 listed as one of the approved phones in Acura's Owner's Link.

Would like to know more about others' experience with using the Treo 650 in the TL and whether any flaws are serious or not.

Thanks.

I've had a Treo 650 for a few days and it pairs up well with the TL now that the patch exists. However, the Treo is sometimes freezing up on me when I try to initiate a call using HFL. I just tried placing a call over lunch and it froze 3 out of the 4 times I tried it. Before that it worked almost every time I tried to make a call. It's a shame because it's otherwise a great phone. I'm going to contact Sprint and PalmOne shortly.

Sprint tech support said PalmOne is aware that there are still issues with some car kits and they're working to resolve them. He expects a patch to be made available later this month or in early Feb. In the meantime they recommended initiating calls from the Treo and then transferring the call to the vehicle. That seems to work just fine. Obviously I'd prefer not to have to do this, but I don't mind too much. Overall I really love the Treo so I'd still recommend it.

Thanks for the responses.
I've had problems with the Treo 600 so still not sure about 650.
I am now also looking at the Blackberry7290.
