speaking of the iPhone in San Gabriel 626

isn't the reception just terrible? On the corner of Rosemead and Las Tunas I tend to lose my calls. It's so annoying...

After you place the call with your phone, press the HFL button and say "transfer". that works if you want to transfer from HFL to phone as well.

Sho_nuff is correct. Unfortunately, with the iPhone, you must wait until you've connect with your caller and THEN transfer the call to the HFL. I had a Treo before I got my iPhone. The Treo would transfer the call before you actually connected to the person you're calling. But the iPhone won't do that.

3G iPhone with AT&T
I get even lower reception near my house which is one street light north from Rosemead. Dropped calls happen at least once a day which forces me to use my home phone

^ i had at&t with my iphone before. that was horibble, at my sister house i had no reception what so ever, in the garage it would just drop directly. i switch to tmobile and jailbroke my phone, since then reception has been great. so i think in our area tmobile is > atnt for now.

I would definitely get improved reception in my home with T-mobile

however, I would sacrifice 3G speeds away from home along with visual voicemail. But honestly, I'm ready to dump my iPhone come next July. There's no way I'll extend my contract with AT&T. The phone barely makes up for the insufficient network as of now.

I have iPhone 3GS, if it wasn't for Apple, I would probably not use AT&T...

I wish I had a 3GS
my phone lags sometimes (ex: opening text message screen literally takes 15 seconds)

jailbreaking and putting themes makes it even slower But the 3GS is much faster from what I hear.

the 3gs is way way faster. my friend has it, compared to my 1gen it is shit=[ but you have to remember, i dont think there is any phone out there with such a huge support like the iphone. im keeping my iphone because it will be my multi media player for video on the navi and my mp3 with the 16gb.

im using edge and yes it is slow but i rather have phone service then internet service =\. sacafice had to be made. only if tmobile can release a iphone themself instead of the g1 which was complete shit!

Reception seems to be fine for me with T-mobile.

I didn't know there were that many TL owners on AZ in the 626 area. Hoping I can become part of that group as well lol
