I recently took my 07 TLS into service for oil change, dash rattle and a dead spot on the touch screen. They took care of the oil and dash rattle but the touch screen is still an issue. They tried reseting it & recalibrating the screen. It still has the issue. Two other 2007TLS they had in service seemed to have the same issue. They were all put in service in the same week as I purchased mine.

The location is under the "L" key when the keyboard is set to QWERTY or 35mm from bottom and right of the screen. It only happens if you are right on top of the key and any side touch of the key is ok. I have yet to find an other area of the screen with this issue.

Any one else out there with this issue? Any solutions to resolve it?

 

take out the screen and remove the touch panel, make sure there is not faults in the 4 lines that run the edge of the panel and that the panel is not making contact on the screen. I can post pictures of it if you want.
