TL roof antenna question

Hey guys I have a tl roof antenna and I wanted to know how to make it work in my Legend as an antenna for my aftermarket radio for fm and am channels.

Isn't that antenna just for the XM radio??

I think thats only XM, the Radio antenna is in the back window as far as i know.
