TL Navi Question

I'm considering purchasing a new TL in the next month or so. Does the TL Navi system lock out any functions while the car is moving? I know the Infiniti's and Lexus models do, but am hoping Acura does not.

My 2005 TL Navi does NOT lock out any functions while the car is moving; various posts on this site indicate that neither the TL nor TSX Navi systems lock out functions while car is in gear, while the Lexus Navi does lock out some functions.

It's all the same whether moving or not. The only annoying thing is you have to wait for the disclaimer screen and "OK" button every time you get in.

only when you start the car, not when you get in or out of it.

which is probably what you meant, but redman doesn't know that

Dodge's NAVI has lock out functions that dont allow you to put in a address while in motion which IMO sucks ass. Thank god ACURA isint like that!

That's good news! Besides, I don't need the computer to make sure I avoid distractions while driving. My wife will make sure of that! But it's nice to know that she can use the Navi system while I drive.
