TL commercial "volume" command

Have you folks seen the commercial showing the abilities of the TL's voice commands? People driving around giving voice commands then at the end they say something like the thing the TL does best is listen. Pretty cool commercial.

Anyway- is it just me or do a couple people give the command "volume up" and "volume down" near the end? Perhaps I was dozing off when I saw it.

If I remember correctly, those voice commands are just available for the nav setup- it's not like they're adjusting the audio level. I can't believe an advertisement would try to make something much cooler than it actually is!

I totally agree! Funny story I am in my TL with a co-worker. He is like man I seen the commercial and this car listens to your commands. I am like yeah. He goes tell it Volume up. So I do and nothing happens. I use the Help screen and it doesn't list that command. It only lists it on the setup screen. So he goes man that stinks, I said well honestly I never noticed since I use the button on the steering wheel and if I really feel the need I reach for the radio.

So as I am driving home I thougt. Why would Acura put that in the commercial when it knows 99% of the people would assume it was the volume of the radio?

oh well....

I think they might have been changing the volume for the navi voice in the commercial

Some marketing company made the ad, but never actually used the TL. Just like how when Microsoft came out with a service patch for Windows, and in the ad, the computer shown was a mac (which of course, does not run Windows)

I saw the commercial and at the end of the commercial they had people saying, "Up", "Down", "Volume Down".

I tried the Volume Up/Down voice commands on both the Navi map and audio screens being displayed. I think on one of the commands turned off the Auto climate control.

I have not tried the "Up" or "Down" commands yet to see what is being turned Up/Down and if you have to be on the Audio display screen.

The problem is I usually forget about this "test" when I am driving.
