Tl audio wiring color codes
It used to be that I could look them up in the sticky thread but the thread "details on stock amp" seems to have been deleted???
Anyone uave this info handy? I need for both pre and post amp...
And why are the important info threads being deleted?

It may depend on year. That's why I noted mine was from 04 FSM which should also cover 05 and probably 06. I'd say put your diagram up too and note the years it covers. Won't hurt future visitors to see both IMO.

Very simple actually. Doors speakers got here last week. Dayton RS180-4s. Connecting .22mH inductor coils in line to creat low pass filter right about where they will start to beam. NVX XSPTW tweeters will go in dash... Will need to do some experimenting with their crossovers. For sub duties I am going to run my 10" Hertz hx250d in a .89cuft sealed box corner loaded for now... But will in the near future order a pair of larger subs to do an "infinite baffle" installation behind the back seats. Everything will be powered by my JL HD900/5. As for the new subs, the front runners at the moment are a pair of Dayton Audio RSS315HFA-8s.
My doors are already treated with the stock speakers in there... (Sounds very good for a stock system of this era, my stock amp is still performing pretty well)
Aside from that I will be pulling signals from the stock head unit (pre-amp) and hopefully I have no issues... I did this in my last TL (07 w/o nav) nd had prestine clean and clear signals....
I know others have not had such luck and I am hoping the noise is not caused by uaving the navigation system which my new TL (08 w nav) has...

I guess we will see... I dont like the idea of having noise in the signal.... If thats the case and I cant get rid of it I may do something else... Maybe try going post amp just for the full range signal to the front. This is assuming the low pass filter on the sub will filter most of any noise out.

Quick update.... Installed the Dayton RS180s last night. Nice improvement to the sound. Sounds good powered by stock amp using the stock tweeters and sub. Dont have time to finish yet but will when i get back from camping. I think the overall output was reduced by about 3-5 dB but I rarely crank it anyway and the sub output is greater compared to the other speakers so it acrually works quite well for now.
