Thinking of installing a PYLE 7" Touchscreen LCD Display ~ Input on installation?

Hi Everyone,

I just purchased an '06 TL base/non-navi. I was thinking of purchasing this Pyle 7" Touchscreen as I have an itch to update my TL and this motorized screen seems like a fun addition..

It's just $130, free shipping & I have looked up the model, not many reviews, other than the screen is gorgeous. My question is, how difficult will it be to hook this up to my stock '06 TL? Will I have to purchase additional wires to convert from stock to an aftermarket radio/video? It does have subwoofer compatibility to I think all my speakers will still function.

I know there are plenty of DIY instructions on AcuraZine so I don't think I'd have a problem taking out the stock radio but I wonder what kind of additional plastic moldings I would need to properly fill the place of the stock TL with an aftermarket LCD display like what I found above.

If anyone has pictures of an aftermarket, motorized LCD screen (any size), pleases post pictures, as this deal ends at midnight tonight! I can't decide if this project is above my level...

Not sure of what you can do as far as install goes, but this isn't a simple swap using a dash kit like most cars. You're going to need A LOT of fabrication...

I'd rather keep the factory unit than use that also..

It's just a consideration...at $130, I have to at least keep it on my list of potential upgrades...

Thanks for your input though
