thinking of converting my non-navi to navi but..

ok, I'm planning to convert my car but what I was wondering is what happens when you have some problems with the unit later? Of course acura is not going to take care of it, but for those with navigation do you ever had any problem with the unit since you have it? No problems at all???

If it starts failing after installed, its going to be a pain in the ass I gues...

i'm pretty sure you can use the same cd player, but the navi and non-navi versions have different part numbers.

don't except any help with anything that has to do with electrical things after you add this in, they will pretty much blame anything that goes wrong with the car to this.

Funny how you did not include MONEY in that list there. I went to my acura dealer to see how much the price difference would be if i traded my 04 no-nav with 4,000 miles for an 05 navi. The price difference was $7,800 and afer taxes should be up to $10,000. I went to Paragon Acura and I think they were seriosuly ripping me off. So my fellow New Yorkers are there any better dealers around the area that might give me a better deal? Oh yea they said they would give me $26,000 for my car.

Paragon has one of the worst reputations in the country!
Do a search on them here in the forum and see for yourself

Try Curry up in Scarsdale and Acura of Manhattan.
