Thinking about an Aftermarket Navi..Whats needed?!?
Was looking into an aftermarket Navi such as the Pioneer AVIC-Z110BT or something around the $800-1000 ballpark..my question is what else is needed besides the actually Navi and Bezels??

Are you going to install it yourself or have an audio shop install it for you? They will have to make a kit for it to fill in the gaps around the headunit and the bezels. I have a Pioneer AVIC Z2 in mine. If you want a backup camera, then yes you have to get one if it's not already included. Are you planning on adding aftermarket amps and speakers as well?

i Really would love to put an aftermarket navi system in my TL as well. I have an 04 with out the nav unit. question tho..how do you put in the after market nav unit in the headunit display since the climate control (AC/heat) is attached to the display of radio/CD?

It looks like that when it's facing you but when you pull it out there are some screws back there holding it together. Just unscrew them and you'll can figure out the rest.
