Hi guys,

Are the following possible:

1) Can both side mirrors tilt downwards when the car is put on reverse?

2) Would the back lights of an '07 or '08 or even type S fit into an '04 TL?

3) Would filling up gas with the medium grade hurt the TL? (Assuming there is regular, medium, premium)

4) Getting rid of scratches on the leather seats. (I know....I'm a total newb)

1) Not in stock form. Your going to have to do some wiring for that. I believe that KP Technologies, a site vendor might have something for this.

2) Yes

3) I SAY: YES

4) Don't know that there is much for you here...everybody's seat, especially the D/S thigh support toward the door gets worn down quick.

Now I just need to figure out how to rewire for #1.

 

as for re-wiring it's very easy, just tie the mirror selector together. only problem with doing that is if you try to readjust one of the mirrors, both will move

 

put a relay between it, using parking light to disable. to make it simple put a switch. if you do with parking it looks for Oem

 

3. Don't know about long-term effects, but short-term the hit I get on gas mileage more than cancels out any savings on price per gallon (with either medium-grade or regular-grade vs. premium).
