Teach me something new

So I just picked up a 08 acura tl type s about 1 month ago.
What are some things about the navigation I may not know about. I so far am as far as learning the the phone buttons and the other buttons that you can say something and change the heat temp and so forth. I know the steering wheel and have linked my phone. I am sure there is so much more the car does that I have no clue about.
Throw some things out at me i am curious.
Thanks so much

Do you know the spoken commands?

'Find nearest Chinese restaurant'

'Find nearest hospital'

'Find nearest gas station'

Etc.

No.

Did you get an Owners Manual? If not, go here (http://owners.acura.com/landing.aspx) and register.

You'll be able to store your radio and navi codes as well as get access to on-line Owners Manuals (both the standard manual and the Navi manual).

You can ask "What time is it?" and it will tell you the time. That feature is kind of useless, but my passengers usually get a kick out of it.

Here's a neat fact:

Based on your GPS position, the time and the light sensing meter, the Climate Control will take the position of the sun into account.

For instance, if it figures the sun is shining through your driver side window, it will make a temp/fan adjustment on that side to compensate.

sweet guys and do alot of people hack the navis. I have seen a few vids on this and dont understand it. Some people have like a sports team backround and so on when car turns on. What is the big advantage of hacking the navi?

For you nothing. You can only change the start up 'splash screen' picture.

Some of the earlier versions could a trip computer hack, but not on later Navi versions.

The "Info" part of the "System/Info" button below the Navi screen will pull up a calendar w/ reminder features, a calculator with various converters, and verbal command help with a list of verbal commands organized by function.

You're correct; no voice commands for non-Navis.
