Suggested AV Switch Audio Relay Method

I'm not sure how much different this would work in comparison to using the AV input/output method.

Check out the schematic drawing. You'll need to pull the audio wires from the XM Harness and replace new lines from harnass to the relay. Both old and new audio wires connect to the non switch ends of the relay. 2nd new audio wires from AV connects to the switched end of the relay. The relay is switched on from the DVD remote power.

Any other inputs would be great.

Another method by cutting the audio lines and putting the 4pole relay in between the harnass and the radio.

I'll post more info once I get the relay installed and tested.

Yes please do. I'm really not liking how it cuts the audio in half on the XM and movies. I'll be starting to work on that myself here shortly.
