I have an '05 TL with the Nav system with the subwoofer and I have been dealing with it rattling obnoxiously to the point where I have to keep it off in order to enjoy any music. Any solutions?

Also, the DVD system doesn't work at all, in the manual it says it only plays "DVD-Audio" discs, and I put that type of disc in and it still does not play, it just tells me "Check Disc" and ejects it.

Try a search for "rattles" in this section and you will have a week's worth of reading on the various rattles and how to fix them.

 

Are you sure its dvd audio disks and not dvd's? Take it to the dealer

 

I had a subwoofer rattle also, in my case the rear deck needed to be padded. There is a service bulletin out about it which means it should be covered by Acura for no cost to you. Good luck!

I had the same issues with rattles and also the sub sounded like it was blown. Took it in and the dealer found all three speakers in the rear were blown. They replaced them and put some padding in the rear deck, there is a TSB out for the rattles in the rear.

 

I also had a subwoofer / rear deck, and front dash center speaker rattle issue, and the local dealership took care of it at no charge because of a service bulletin from acura. I'd take it in to a local dealership and see if they're willing to work with you on it.
