hey guys i have a 12" L5 and a 750.1 kicker amp in my 2004 TL ive blown a couple subs and ive talked to kicker rep about it and they said i shouldnt listen to the music at full volume only 30 out of 40.

Can Some1 else with a sub confirm this or help me out with the settings

Doesn't matter what sub/amp combo you have. After volume 30, the distortion of the stock HU increases dramatically. This will eventually blow the sub even if you aren't pushing it to it's max potential. Get an amp powerful enough that you don't have to max out the gains and HU. I've got enough headroom that I never have to push it past 20 and even at 20 it's only for a short time because it destroys my ears.
