Subwoofer Help

I had 2 10's go out on me a while back. I just got the replacements in and put them into my box. I hooked everything back up the way it was before, but I am not getting any bass out of them. I do get a poer light on the amp so I know that there is not a fuse blown anywhere.

I even replaced my lineout converter thinking that was the problem but that did not help. I tried plugging into the amp through the high level inputs and the RCA's but nothing seems to help. I can plug the wires back into the stock sub and that works so I don't think it is the witing to the lneout converter.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for any help.

This may be too obvious, so no insult intended...

Is the subwoofer slider turned on in the Audio settings at the front end?

Yep sure is, that was one of the first things that I checked. Not offended here, of courseI would be pissed at myself if it is something very simple.

I also made sure that the gains on the amp were up, which they are. I tried 2 amps, and I know both work, cause I just had them tested not too long ago. Both subs were sent to me brand new. The ones I had before are no longer made, so they sent me 2 new ones of a different model.

ok got it figured out. It was my stupid ground cable for the AMP. the shop that did my wiring put the ground wire a little over the insulation in the spare tire well and that was causing the problem. I reloted the wire and now everything works perfectly fine.
