sub-screen for non-navi

sub-screen for non-navi
i have done a dvd install for my non navi and was wondering if i could use the sub-screen instead of my non navi lcd one. or does that subscreen work with the navi unit only

that subscreen works in conjuction with the navi screen and the navi drive to display the XM information to my knowledge. On member here did the necessary wiring to use that display, but it was a bit of work.
