Strange Navigation Issue
So a few days ago, as I was driving, I went to use my voice control in my 2005 Navi TL, when I pressed the command button, the navi screen flashed a few times, glitched out, and kept trying to reboot.
Current problems:
-Now, when the vehicle starts up, the navi splash screen is the "H" instead of an "A".
-My top display with the clock and climate controls, the clock itself is out-of-sync with the navi unit.. the navi unit displays the correct time, but it won't send the command/signal to the upper screen. I have tried the "time send" function in the Diagnostic menu.
-Whenever I use the voice command button(s), the screen glitches and the radio turns off, I have to cycle the key to reboot the system and regain the nav and radio.
-I somehow have mysteriously acquired the Accord instantaneous MPG trip info on my nav screen, which I never had before
-When I go to adjust the audio settings, through the nav screen i cannot control the center speaker or the sub, but if I use the right hand knob on the radio itself, I can still control those functions
-All of a sudden every time I press my climate control buttons the command I selected is displayed on the nav screen, where as before that never happened
What I have tried:
-Purchased the newest nav disc (3.D0) and nothing changed
-Disconnected the battery for 30 minutes, entered radio and nav codes, no change
-Ran the self diagnostic in the diagnostic menu, and everything comes up as "OK"
What it seems like to me, is for some reason my Navi drive/module is booting the Accord file off of the Disc instead of the TL file. I seem to have gained the features the Accord has (isntant MPG), and lost the features it doesn't (voice command buttons on wheel, upper display screen/clock, subwoofer control, center speaker control)
I'm wondering if anybody has come across this issue before, and what they did to resolve it. BTW, the nav was working perfect for the past 2 years... until the other day.
I'm leaning towards having to send my unit to Alpine, but just want to make sure that is the solution, being that i just spent the money on a new disc, hoping something would change.

You've got a hacked Navi, which is running on older software (prior DVD version).
I had read on AZ that inserting a more recent disc would download the current software and overwrite the hacked files, though.
Try ejecting the old Navi DVD and inserting the new one again, without disconnecting the battery, etc.
If that doesn't work, eject the old Navi DVD, disconnect the battery for an hour (or overnight), then reconnect, start car, insert new DVD and assess.
