We need help, to help you

In order to assist you, you need to rewrite your previous post as it makes absolutely no sense at all.

In the future people will be able to respond / assist in a MUCH more timely manner if you take a moment to re-read what you are posting before you click the submit button.

it's like one big run-on sentence....er something...

basically he's saying he did a test...he rolled down the windows and locked the door with his keyfob...he pulled up the lock near the window with his finger and wants to know why the alarm wouldn't come on...

that's my interpretation of it...you shouldn't have to install anything on a stock alarm (it comes installed on the car)...what specifically sets it off, i don't know...you could hit the panic button if you wanna test it...

roll down the window, lock the doors with the remote. Wait about 30 seconds or so for the alarm to actually initialize, pull up the lock with your fingers and open the door.

See if that works. If not, dont know what else to tell you.

There's a better way to test the alarm.

Enter the car, close the door and then "arm" the alarm by locking the vehicle USING THE REMOTE. Verify the alarm is armed by checking the blinking red light on the driver's door. Then, lift the manual door lock knob (the one by your shoulder, not the master switch). That simulates someone trying to jimmy the door open, and the alarm should sound. To turn it off, hit the "unlock" button on your remote.
