stock sound system

At the moment I don't plan on going all out on modding my future TL (...yet) but a nice sound system is def. on the list.

How does the stock system work for you guys?

Stock system is good but after a while, you will want something a bit more powerful. Unfortunately, my right side speaker needs to be replaced/readjusted as it is making a rattling sound that is killing me.

^^^ +1. If you are asking this question, you're already wanting to upgrade your audio.

search for the infiniti basslink if you want just a little more deep notes and a bit of bump.

200 or so, small size, etc

^^ yeah the basslink is ok. I never liked them in better insulated cars though, very hard to hear.

to the op... Cost efficient means different things to different people. You need to come up with an actual dollar amount that you can spend and then we can tell you what to get....

TL's system works well enough, although it's lack of mid's can be frustrating at times playing certain songs, it gets the job done.

Stock system seems to be ok for me. I'd like to upgrade my system but then I listen to my wife's stock system in her Mazda 3 and I cringe - if there's one system that needs replacing, it's hers. The TL is so much better than that.

That said...if it'd be simple enough to just swap out speakers in the TL without adding an amp...I'd be all over that.

Is this something that can be remedied via upgraded components, or more along the lines of a 'filter.'
