What size are the speakers in the TL? I went to Circuit City and bought some Eclipses, a pair of 6.5 and a pair of 6 x 9 because that is what the sales associate told me. Can someone confirm this, or do I have to list it on ebay?

 

if you have a 3rd gen TL (dont know about 2nd Gen).....

front (driver and passenger door), rear deck (both) ....6.5" 20W 2ohms 2.18" install depth
subwoofer: 8" 40W 2ohms 5" install depth
tweeters: 1" 4ohms
center channel: 3.5" 15W 4ohms
Amp: 5.1 channel around 20W per channel

 

Are these speakers hard to change out?

 

if you know how to take your rear seat apart and your door apart....they shouldnt be too bad....

the speakers itself are plug and play.....

 

do you have a manual to take apart the rear seat?

 

nah man....am just a newbie like you guys.....just gathered all the info to do the audio setup myself....but this economy is killing me.....gotta save a little for the unforeseen
