I am putting JL C5 650 6 1/2" speakers to replace my stock speakers in my 2004 acural TL. Will those fit properly into the doors or will I need to use spacers? If so any special brand anyone knows that is good for this application?

 

3/4" mdf spacers. cut them out yourself and you should be good.

 

Any idea where to pick those up and do they have to be 6" 1/2 size? I see a bunch of subwoofer mdf spacers , they're huge

Here's what you need to do.
1. Look up those speakers you have and find the cutout dia.
2. Find 3/4 mdf rings that have an inside cutout dia of that size or slightly larger.
3. Or go make them yourself as mentioned above.
