Speaker noise question (from a new TL owner)
Just bought an 07 Acura TL from a dealership 2 days ago (it's a CPO vehicle) and have an inquiry about the speakers. (Currently at work and am not really at liberty to peruse all the threads and whatnot, so forgive me in advance if there are similar threads somewhere.) So anyways, I drive it to work today for the first time and am listening to some rather bass-heavy music from a MP3 CD source(both bass and sub set to pretty high but not the highest settings) and I noticed significant crackling coming from the rear speakers. So I played around with the speakers a little and I believe I've narrowed it down to the back right speaker.
I'm not really very knowledgeable about audio equipment, so I'm not sure if the speaker is blown out or what, but I have a couple questions:
1) Is it possible that this happens because I'm playing an MP3 CD and not a regular CD? I read some topic about something along these lines about DVD-Audio discs..
2) If it indeed is a speaker gone bad, is this covered by warranty?
3) If not, how much would fixing one speaker run me (ballpark)?
4) So my friend is saying that if you have one speaker, the other speakers are susceptible to damage because of it, so he suggests I fix it ASAP. Is there any truth to this?
5) An unrelated question - I notice that even at volume 1, the sound is pretty loud. Is there any way to alter this?
Thanks in advance

If you just got the car 2 days ago, there should be some warranty from the place you bought it? I would have them look at it.
If you lived near me, I could give you a replacement speaker since I have upgraded all the speakers n my car.
