Sound ? when doing Navi Conv

I going to pick up Vosolk (spelled wrong sorry) navi to dvd unit. I know his unit runs off a FM mod for sound. Is there a blitzsafe adaptor or something similar where I can have it run off the headunit. I know I might have to lose XM but I don't want to.

Is there anyway I can run the dvd conv and the XM. If there isnt such a thing in plug and plug. I dont mind cutting and splicing wires.

I'm doing my install next weekend. I'm going to use this inline powered fm modulator.

I did the conversion in my 2004 Honda Accord. It worked....until I turned on the engine to the car. Then I discovered alternator whine....and I couldn't get rid of it. I tried a GLI, but that didn't do anything. Nothing worked. So the hell with it. I may go with an FM modulator in the future, but I doubt it. I already have the dealer installed mp3 player, so I play mp3s that way. The only person who watches movies while I drive is my wife, so I ran an extension cord for some headphones to the front dash and made a small inconspicuous hole in the side dash for the headphone output. That way, I can listen to AM/FM/XM radio, CDs, and mp3s while my wife watches Simpsons or Family Guy on DVD!
