Slightly unusual question. Adding another 6.5 in the door+equipment selection

Some more of my though process since I am working on 3-way too (my apologies if it is extreme and you don't care)...
I am going tomorrow to get both kicks and pillars from a wrecked 2004. ...just an idea if you wanted cheap insurance against ruin or hating the placement.
Make sure that your homeowners or auto will cover theft if somebody gets in. I double checked and am GTG.

It's funny you mention that. I'm currently renting but I just got a good insurance policy that covers the car when parked at home just because I was installing all of this stuff.
I know it sounds ghetto but I plan to tape the tweeters in different locations and with the mids I may have to cut multiple holes in my stock kicks to see where I like them the best. Hopefully it won't be as critical with a dome but who knows. If I could avoid the leg in the way I would like to do it.

I care and I really appreciate any and all advice. I'm new to this, this is my first attempt at an SQ system so I have no personal experience to fall back on, I rely on others' experiences.

This thread has done a complete 180 from my original post of adding a second mid to the mix.
I've comitted to the Dyn 3-ways.
Not doing the Pdx's due to potential noise floor issues. I'm thinking either a pair of HD 5/900s or a 750/1 and a couple 600/4 amps. Those can wait though since I have amps that will work fine for now.

Alpine corrected the noise issues with the new pdx amps. 2 600/4's would be LOVELY, though.
1 bridged giving each midbass 300 and the 2nd giving the mid and tweets 150 per would be awesome.
How much of a price jump is there between the 342 and 362? Might as well get the 8"

I would LOVE to put the 8s in there, its only a little more. But itlooks like the door panel itself would have to be nodded. The sheetmetal is already cut, that's no big deal but I want to keep the stock look of the doors. The plastic panel was already cut to fit the IDs but its as far as I can go.

As for the mids, I'm going to holesaw the stock kicks until I can afford the custom kicks from Niebur3 which will be another 2 weeks or so. It will look tacky and the mids will be way off axis but hopefully for only 2-3 weeks.
As for the subs, I ordered a month or so ago. Hopefully they will be here any day but I've read the horror stories of 5-6 months from this company so who knows.
