I just installed the Sirius Starbase. Everything is hooked up correctly, except the FM Adapter (I just disconnected it). When its plugged in the radio, all I hear is static from FM Stereo, but when I turn on the Sirius tuner (Tuned to proper sation) it works fine. What am i doing wrong?

I've tried different ways to hook up the FM adapter either using the cord that was already attached to the radio or just the adapter alone.

I'm about to get another Adapter, thinking its defective, but I figure I'll check here for suggestions first.

Does anyone know what I should do? I'd appreciate the help. Thanks!

 

call Sirius tech info, they are pretty good. sounds like you have to toggle the wireless FM transmitter off to use the FM modulator line connector
