Sirius S50

I just installed the sirius S50 and loe everything about it except for the sound. The sound is very bland. When I compare it to the same channel on XM (Radio Disney) the XM definatly sounds better. Deeper stronger bass, brighter highs, crisper sound altogether. I am presently going through the wireless FM. Before I installed it I called Sirius and asked of the sound would be better hard wired to the radio with an FM modulator. They said it would soudn the same whether it was transmitted wirelessly or hard wired with the FM modulator.

Doesn anybody have any experiene/advice? Is there a way to improve the sound?

Thanks

the hard wire just connects to the back of the radio between the unit and the antenna. That will really be MUCH better? I think you still have to tune the radio to a certain FM channel.

Hard wire will ALWAYS be better. I'm not an engineer so won't go through sound fidelity differences and effective range of wireless, but it's pretty obvious (see: efficiency of wired vs. wireless Ethernet).

Otherwise I wouldn't spend hundreds of dollars on cables and everything would be wireless.
