YESSSS!!!! I orderd mine. They have the kit as a package deal. Only a few left today. I was gonna do the pre-order from dogstarradios but they STILL don't have an ETA. I know TSS was a little bit more expensive, but hell, I've been waiting a year to get rid of that damn sportster tuner.

I agree about dogstar. I had to cancel my order with them. Email doesn't work, phone doesn't work. However, I did the "chat" with someone from customer service and got someone to help me. He was helpful.

You might give that a try. The chat link is on their homepage

I LOVE IT! Finally, its real, it exists, and it's installed!

No more FM modulators, no more tape adapter.

Kind of weird though, the cable has a y plug on it so you can still hook up the XM box. However, when I did that, I was getting audio from both of them and it really made the things go nuts when trying to change channels.

WOW...is every interface like how XM currently does it on the TL?

I might be misunderstanding you, but there is an XM1 and an XM2 set of presets. For some reason though, voice control does NOT work. I say, "XM channel 100" and it repeats it and then you hear a deet deet deet sound, but it never changes channels. That's about the only 'downside' if you can call it that. Not having some stupid extra tuner hanging off the A/C vents is SOOOO nice.

Where is this installed, behind the NAV unit in the dash or in the trunk where the XM radio is located?

It's in the trunk. You have to disconnect the XM tuner and plug in the sirius tuner into the factory plug.

Received the HON-SC1 and SCC-1 on Friday and was able to install over the weekend in the trunk in place of the original pioneer XM radio. Thus far it's working wonderfully using the factory XM antenna and a self-made connector. During a weekend of driving not a single signal drop-out. Nice to have a Sirius option for a TL without additional wiring or display controls.

Look no wires!

The manual says all TLs 2004+, so I don't see why it wouldnt work with a non-navi.

That would be awesome. I started a thread on this new unit here: https://acurazine.com/forums/ramblings-12/dating-service-176392/

Also, how is the text display on the upper LED readout?

I've held off on getting any kind of ipod adapter cause i heard it replaces the xm module. Can you have both of them connected? How are you listening to the ipod without the sirius sound coming through?

So you are just out of luck now on the ipod, or do you have some sort of switch to turn off the audio on the sirius?
