Setting clock/time on NAVI models

I don't get it. I've got an 05 TL NAVI, and the clock above the vents is one hour different than the clock settings on
the NAVI (screen #4 in Settings) since we lost an hour this weekend for DST.

The owners manual indicates that cars with the NAVI will have their clocks automatically reset. I've
tried several of the "on/off" settings on that screen #4 - for the automatic GPS and Time Zone settings - but the clock
above the air vents is still off an hour from the NAV screen settings.

Anybody know how to get the two clocks in sync?

That is really odd, the Navi controls both clocks. Not sure why one is off, you could always remove the negative battery terminal for 15 seconds to reset it. Otherwise have the dealer look at it if that doesn't work.

I found I had the same thing happen with my '04 TL/Navi on Sunday. But then I figured out that my problem was due to the fact that I was running the TSX Navi software on my TL to get the Trip Computer. Once I reverted back to the TL software my clock synced right up with the Navi system. I don't know if this is the cause of your problem though.

The clock on the NAV screen is correct. The one above the vents is running one hour ahead (like it didn't recognize DST).

Strangely enough, I did take it to Lehigh Valley Acura tpday, and the Service Advisor, and three other dealership employees came out to my vehicle - spent 15 minutes on it - and were puzzled.

I am bringing the vehicle in next week for something else, and figure they can spend more time then.

UPDATE: found out why the clock wouldn't change....need a new NAV system.

Dealer ordered a replacement unit, and will install shortly. Go figure.
