My TomTom Go had an awesome feature where I could interrupt a route with a roadblock ahead. This was great for accidents and detours. I would specify a guestimate of how far ahead the roadblock was (say, 100 yards) and the system would route me around it. Is there a feature like this on the TL's Navigation system?

 

Yes. It permits you to also minimize freeways and otherwise re-calculate a route. Push the "menu" button below the nav screen to access re-routing options while on an existing route.

 

Thank you, that worked great. After selecting, "Menu" I selected, "Detour." Wish I had noticed that before or asked the question sooner.
