Reverse cam doesn't always reverse video 3rd Gen

I need help trying to find out why my reverse cam or Nav-tool doesn't always reverse video on the display screen lately. The pic is opposite or flipped on the video screen most of the time now. It rarely show the correct backing order, (my left is my left or Rt is Rt). Is it the camera or Nav-Tool OR ? Thank you....PEACE

Is the picture opposite or flipped all the time?

This is the way to figure out what's working and what's not.
If your screen is black in reverse -> it's probably the backup camera as the Video module isn't getting a signal.

If you get the ok button/map in reverse ->Video module is the issue. Check the wiring to it.

If you are getting the backup camera, but it's flipped -> Plug it in to another TV and see if the same is happening. If not, plug in a dvd player to the video module and see if the image is flipped.
