Remove Navi DVD Drive from Trunk on 05 TL

Sorry if this has been asked somewhere else, but i did a search on no less than 3 occasions for anything that described how to remove the drive from where it's mounted. I have the "DVD read error - please consult your dealer" error and i have ran a cleaning dics thru the drive 20+ times to no avail. So my only options are to pay 225 or so from a local repair shop referred by the local dealership, or remove the drive and send it to alpine for 158. obviously i'd like to A.) have the mfgr repair it B.) save 75 or so bucks on the repair.

Any help would be appretiated... Thanks in advance.

I just did this today so it is fresh in my mind.

Remove the carpet from the right side of your trunk with those "knob fasteners". You will see 4 screws holding the Nav unit to the floor of the trunk. Unplug all the harnesses connected to the rear of the unit and you are good to go!
