when i use my remote start my memory doesnt go to the present number...it stays where i last left it...but when i use the keyless entry it is linked to the remote....I.E im remote 2 so when i use remote 2 it goes automatically to memory 2. This is a standard feature and u have to link the remote...i believe u firsst have to select the desired memory button then with the corresponding remote u have to hold the lock and unlock button at the same time to link it...i think thats right, someone correct me if im wrong. If im not mistaken the directions are on the back of the factory key fob. Hope that helped
