Rear view camera question

I have a 08 TL base with Navi and i have noticed that everything looks so far away in the rear view camera, like i'm a foot away from a car and it looks like 5+ feet away. Is it just that the camera's are shitty or is there something wrong with mine ?

It's like that for all of us, you get used to it and will learn how to judge distance.

I think it has to do with the camera having some sort of wide angle lens, but depth perception is always skewed when viewing through a camera/monitor usually anyways.

You will get used to it.
