I was wondering if it possible to access the rear view camera while driving. I read in another post that it was trippy looking, so i assume they got it to work somehow. I went to the diagnostic menu by pressing map, cancel, menu together, but did not see the options in there. Thanks.

 

As far as I know it only works in reverse, but I may be wrong. But why would a back up camera work in any other gear? I mean, it is for backing up safely.

 

i assume you're talking about the OEM navi screen?

my camera comes on with a switch regardless of what gear i'm in. but my camera and screen are aftermarket.

sometimes i cruise down the street w/ the camera on just for the heck of it
