Rear Speaker on '07 Type S

Rear Speaker on '07 Type S

I just noticed that, my rear speaker sound really muffled. When try to play only from the rear speakers I hear muffled sound. however when the navigation is working the voice guidance sound good.
anyone know what would be the issue?

Is your stereo set on Prologic? If so try turning it off and see if the sound improves.

+1 @ Prologic. My rear speakers snap crackle and pop like rice crispies when I use AUX w/ Prologic on. I assume it's a defect in the signal processing.

I have a 2006 TL, all of a sudden, my rears are very very low no matter what the source is... is this a Prologic issue? If so, how do I turn it off?
