How do you take out the rear seats and deck? I'm finally dynamating my trunk and installing a system.

Its pretty simple, also theres a DIY on it here with service manual scans. There are about 5-6 screws and a few clips. Just a tip, don't take out the screws under the head-rests, just loosen them a few turns.

And dont over tighten the bolts either... Contemplate not putting the center bolt back in...

Pull out the airbag pins on the C Pillars.. (pins/plugs cost about 29 bux... Dont get crazy) pull them to the inside (a little) and toward the windshield... There should be some DYIs for this... Maybe look for rear deck rattle fix.

The service manual is one of the best investment I made...

I think the part number you want is: 61SEP02

It looks like its 75 bux

as far as determining what to put it on...i tap on the surface, and if it sounds like a drum, load it up!

while u have the rear seats out, drive it. that was a recommendation from another member and its helpful. i did it when i put my springs/shocks in. you'll notice a bunch of noise in the entire trunk! pull off the foam stock sound deadening around the rear wheel wells and do underneath there too. wherever you see some stock sound deadening double that up too.

if youre obsessed like i am, while u have the seats out, pull the carpet underneath the rear floor and do under there too.

the door handle release cables are very prone to breaking. i broke the green end trying to put it back in the clip. i got it in but be careful.

and take your time!

pull the headrests off. there's a little vertical slit in the leather. put ur finger in it, its not that deep. it's tight and it swallows..sockets. get in there with a 10mm socket and extension. do it by feel, the only way. that, btw is the easiest part of the project!
