I covered the rear deck of my car with SS Damplifier but it still made noise. As it turns out, the mechanical components of the tensioner for the middle seat belt are the main source of noise.
If I pull the belt tight and hold it, the rattling stops. I used a small C-clamp from Lowe's to hold the belt tight and the rattling noise diminished significantly.

Reason: spelling
How often do you use the center seat belt? If hardly ever or never, then why not just remove it.
On my '04, the anchor for the middle seat belt also fastens the passenger belt clasp to the bench. Not having a functioning rear-passenger seat belt isn't an option for me.
The belt needs to be held taut against the crash stop, otherwise the clip will just be hanging on to the belt without cancelling the rattle. I doubt a binder clip has the grip strength to keep the belt from slipping back into the tensioner.

Since im building full TL system, my 8" sub was giving me some vibration that i didn't like, I had second skind sound deadning and put it in to a good use. Here is what I did. as a reminder, all back speakers have been taken out!
i also sound deadnade the back plate where this panel is sitting on, sorry didn't take a picture of that when I was applying second skin through out the whole trunk and rear deck.
All I did was put in a 1/2" thick piece of foam weather stripping with adhesive on one side inside the opening where the seatbelt comes out. It worked great, the seatbelt could still be used and you couldn't see it.
