Real time traffic problem

Ok, I got a new TL on Friday night and the dealership didn't activate the xm radio and nav traffic. So i called myself to have it activated but I can't get the nav traffic to work. I've had them re-send the signal 3 times now and gone through the process to reactivate the radio each time but it still doesn't work.

I checked and my car is using the version 4.55a nav dvd rather than the current 4.56a one, could that be the problem?

Called the dealer and spoke with the service dept, they have no other ideas. Other than the traffic the nav system seems to work fine.

Double check if the Traffic icon is on? Make sure your scale is set correctly so you can see traffic?

Press the hands free button on the steering wheel and say "display traffic". This command will change the scale to the correct value and display traffic. Also, make sure you're in an area that is covered with NavTraffic - most areas don't have this feature.

I've checked all the settings to make sure they're correct, both incidents and traffic flow are checked as being reported. When I use the voice command "display traffic" the system repeats it back to me but doesn't display any traffic info. I live in the San Francisco bay area which is definitely covered; I've even scrolled down to Los Angeles and theres no info reported there either.
