Ram-mount with netbook, mounting question
Hey everyone,
Just wondering if anyone had any experience with the universal ram-mount tripod mounts in our cars.. here's the link to what i'm looking at:
http://ram-mount.com/CatalogResults/...0/Default.aspx
anyway, it's basically the base for a laptop tray made by the same company that i'm thinking about putting a netbook on for mobile internet use. I can't figure out how i'd position the feet of the tripod though. I looked under my passenger seat and found the two main seat rail bolts (14mm IIRC) so that part isn't hard, but that forward section of the rails (the holes for the bolts to go through) angles down from the rest of the rail in what looks like a 45 degree angle to meet up with the floor. i'm just not sure if the feet on that ram mount will clear the area under the seat enough to get into the area where the bolts go or if i'll be able to move the seat forward with the tripod feet in place, since i'll have a passenger from time to time.
Thanks, all help is appreciated
