Radio noise or static

I have searched and found that the rear defroster could be the problem but is not. The cable to the antenna? What is the issue with the radio noise? Does anyone have a fix for it?

I have this problem too. I get a bunch of static when using the radio, but CD's are fine.

Check the grounding straps from the battery to chassis and battery to the engine block.

There is another one near the passenger side motor mount.

Apparently it is the lack of reception on the car. I just bought this car and not used to all of its quirks. 14yrs inside of BMW...
