Hey guys im new to this forum, but not a newb to posting...

Live in vancouver BC, and just picked up an 05 TL Navi WDP. I love it! I have a few issues with it... The radio is dead, ill end up getting it replaced by the dealer as i bought extended warrenty, but this radio still does not support ipod conectivity because i dont have an XM button

Was cruising through ebay and wondering if i buy one that comes with the xm button (granted its from the right year) and not even bother with finding all the wiring for xm and just plug in an ipod interface.

In my head it all sounds like it will work, but i dont want to be in the middle of it all and have it backfire on me so i thought i would run it by some members on here.... What cha think?
