i want to get the xm radio or atleast do the trial... but i need the radio code XM says.. but i am, not the first owner of the 04 TL and i do not have the manuals to the car.. where can i find the radio code?

 

in the worst case scenario you'll have to pull out the head unit...

But first check the glove box for any stickers on the outside of the box...sidewalls....usually dealers place stickers there with the code radio s/n and codes there.

 

Tune it to Channel 0 or 1 in XM mode and it will show you your radio code. You do not need "radio reset" code for activating XM.

And xm has its own radio ID as stated- call them and they can even tell you how to get it
