Radio code after new battery
So I purchased a new battery today and course I'm not able to put in my radio code. I looked in my glove box and I do have a white sticker with 8 numbers these numbers have 8 and 9's in it so I dont think it's my radio code due to not having 8 and 9's to punch on the radio.
Can anyone assist me in knowing what to do exactly, I can't live w/o my radio

Your options:
1> check your owners manual....some dealers are nice and put a sticker with the codes there (i have a sticker there)
2> glove box (you already did)....I have a sticker there too
3> under spare tire....my dealer also put a sticker under the spare tire, right on the trunk....
4> go to the dealership
5> call Acura....
either way am sure you will have your radio/navi working by tomorrow....I have mine memorized (6 digits )

Once you get your code register your TL at www.myacura.com in the USA or https://www.myacura.acura.ca/ in Canada. Save your Navi and Radio codes there.

Can’t Find the XM Radio ID?
Just View It Electronically
Currently Applies To: ’05–09 MDX, ’07–09 RDX,
’05–09 RL, ’04–09 TL, and ’06–09 TSX
Need that 8-character XM radio ID number off the
XM receiver but you’re not sure exactly where it’s at?
Finding it on the component can be a bit tricky, since
its location can vary from manufacturer to
manufacturer.
Fortunately, though, there’s an easy way to get that
ID: Just tune to channel 0, and you can view it
electronically on the audio display. When you do this,
make sure you’re in channel mode and not in
category mode; otherwise, you won’t see it.
If you’re in channel mode but you still can’t see the
ID, then call XM Satellite Radio at 800-967-2346
and one of their friendly agents will help you find it on
the component. Their agents are available to take
your calls Monday thru Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to
11:00 p.m. ET and on Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to
8:00 p.m. ET. When you call, make sure you’ve got
the component in hand or ready access to it.

Ok so I got the code for the radio I had to call the orignal dealer where the car was purchased from to get the code. I've tried to put it in the radio but keep getting the radio code.

Has the radio ever been replaced?
Turn the radio off. While holding 1 and 6, Turn it back on. Is the serial number the same as the one on the glovebox?
If it's different send me the serial number and your VIN. I'll get it to you asap.
If it's the same disconnect the battery for a while and try again.

If you have the code - turn the radio on and when it asks for the code punch it in on the radio preset buttons. Shouldn't be any more difficult than that.

Once you get your code register your TL at www.myacura.com in the USA a or https://www.myacura.acura.ca/ in Canada. Save your Navi and Radio codes there.
Just input the info, and you get your code!
I bought from the dealer, you might not get it as easy if it was person to person sale!
Good luck
Thanks to love my tl-s!

Quick Fix
I just had mine reset.
> Called (not original) dealer
> He had me press 1 and the 6 together
> I read him the two codes that came up
> He told me to punch in the code.
Done
PS Then he suggested I write it down and put in glove box

You do not have to go to a dealer!
DONT PAY THE DEALER! Honda/Acura has a website dedicated to radio/navi code retrieval. I am a tech and I use it ALL THE TIME for customer cars when they lose their radio code cards. All you need is some personal info and some info that can be retrieved from your radio display (even when locked).

I also just replaced my battery and entered the nav code and it is fine, but have no a/c or radio and it isn't asking for an additional codes. I have the codes, but not sure where to enter them. Where are the 1 and 6 buttons you pressed? Thanks in advance!

Input the code to see if that restarts the radio.
You don't need to press 1 and 6 if you have the radio code (pressing 1 & 6 are to get the radio serial number for the dealer to call for the radio code).
