Lol... I have no freaking idea... I was guessing spare tire hole after removing the spare tire since at this point a spare is useless for how low the car sits now. But Idk yet... I guess I will cross that bridge when I get there.

Why would the spare be useless because of how low it sits? If anything it'll clear the fenders better than the rims!

i mounted mine on an angle on the right side of the trunk...and the sub one on the left...out of the way.

when i totaled my EP, the insurance dude told me he didn't care about the rims...as long as it rolled. So i bought 4 doughnuts...true story.

Because smaller diameter spare would dump it on the floor. Example would be as if I put the stock wheels and tires on right now it would lower the entire body and chassis more. Its only a total diamter difference of maybe a 1in+ but its a big difference when you are trying to get a jack in and out. I know what I mean if it doesn't make scense. Its happen to me before. I believe even at this point with my 19 and lowered the jack doesn't now

But if there is enuff clearance I also thought about mounting a thin pc of woof of sort across the spare in the bucket where the tire sits and mount the electronics to that. Either way, I figure it out once I get started and I will moch something up. But as u can see, its not a small amp.

He RS143...pics of you set up or CHAD AP! Show how and where u mounted your amp since you have already said they compare in size.

I'm not sure if the spare well is long enough to accompany the amp though. Then you need to worry about ventilation when putting it in the spare well. I would imagine being secluded down there in the summer heat wouldn't be a good thing lol

No chance! You won't end up doing whatever I show/suggest anyway!

PS, the circumference of the spare would be a little smaller...it won't sit properly but it'll still get you home (or to a gas station) in a pinch!

That is exactly why he was pretty much ignored and look how helpful this thread end up being with such valuable info that can have any noob save hundreds in knowledge and how to info alone. Not to mention the value behind some of the guys help here that become long term friends during our audio/TL endeavours For a ex. JERRY (Niebur3) Even off this thread Jerry and I talk & text all the time whenever I have a question of concern. Dumb or not, he sets me straight. His help has literally been on tap! And the same with IHC & TM with their immediate response here on the thread.... and YES! Lets not forget O'Faithful ROCKSTAR143...LOL! (I love u man!...NO HOMO!)

Why no Homo?!?! It's V day, Jay!!! JAY VEEEEEE DAY!

No problemo, man...in car audio though, I'm a noob in comparison to Jerry and Matt. I barely know my ass from my face in reference to to all that stuff they talk about.

I'm flattered but my name should not be in the same league as Jerry lol. I'm still a noob as well that's trying to justify his much too expensive purchase by learning everything I can. A year ago I was googling what a crossover slope was.

Speaking of homo, this time several years ago before I met the GF, me and a couple single friends went to a pizza joint and ordered a few heart shaped pizzas and beer. We even got some of it free because I think the waitress felt sorry for us.

nice shyt man You inspired me to actually save to invest in a good upgraded system .For now all I can do is that Pnp amp for the factory speakers if its still available or find a reputable shop either in tampa or orlando that would be able to add a decent amp in replacement to the oem amp to start off by giving the car some more life to the speakers. But id defiinatley like to meet up with u guys in the future for some camparisons as I am mostly performance modded for now lol. Let me know of any good reputable shops with decent prices. Looking foward to the progress bro keep up the good work.

^ Tell u the truth... I was a hop skip and a blink away from buying that PnP amp also...Then I said fk it! Why skimp now. I try to buy good stuff if not better. And I didn't want to just have GOOD STOCK stuff... So as u see, lil by lil I am doing it. Sloooooooooowly and patience. And still all I can show for is my items in boxes. So, you see, it doesn't happen over night... But DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME! That is the one most important advice I have gotten from this thread and learned also along the way... Like when I was going to go with a enclosed box and I bought one! And look how that turned out! It wasn't meant to be and no short cut pays off... Now I am left with doing the IHC, TM and Jerry way or best adviced way, with the knowledge and budget of ME... How that comes out, we have yet to see

UMMMM... not so good. I have not even started.... and running out of time with only 1.5mo till baby boy birth. IB is failing... Alternative will be a UNCALD4 side mount if I don't get my ass moving.

Good luck with it. If you can get one whole day to dedicate to the IB installation, you will be able to get it done. My wood fabrication skills are like an 8yr old and I managed it in about half a day. I think a "pro" could do it in a couple hours.

I was wondering what happened with your system, no updates in a while. Congrats on the upcoming baby.

I'll be doing my installation tomorrow. I'm super excited. My wood cutting skills aren't that great either but I should be alright.

things are slowly coming to a end... I was looking onto buy a UNCALD4 enclosure but the dude sold the box from under my nose after making communication to conclude the transaction. Anyways, 4-5weeks left before baby boy is coming and I don't have the itch anymore. Everyone may be seeing everything purchased FOR SALE on the Black Market.
